Starting Your OneSmile Aligner Journey
Initial Orthodontic Consultation
To better evaluate the condition of your dental malocclusion, we begin with taking diagnostic records of your teeth. This includes a detailed oral examination, taking photos, x-rays and 3D digital iTero scan. Our dentist will then assess this information and plan your orthodontic treatment accordingly.
Subsequently, the findings will be presented along with a tailored treatment plan addressing your treatment goals and concerns. A 3D simulation of a before/after treatment results will also be provided.
Treatment Plan
Using the 3D model, a tailored treatment plan is developed, outlining the movement of your teeth over time. It also gives you an estimated treatment duration. Once the treatment plan is approved, a series of clear aligners is fabricated overseas before shipping to the clinic for your collection.
Treatment Progression
You have the freedom to take charge of your treatment journey, effortlessly changing your aligner sets in the comfort of your own home. With the Dental Monitoring App, your treatment progress can also be tracked closely and remotely by your dentist by taking weekly selfies. It is an AI-driven technology and will only take 2 minutes of your time.
This will significantly reduce the number of appointments and waiting time, hence, giving you more freedom to fit your busy daily schedule.
Completion of OneSmile Treatment
Once your OneSmile journey has ended, you will proceed to the retention phase, where you will wear the retainers according to your dentist’s instructions to maintain your new smile.

How Much Does OneSmile Clear Aligner Cost in Singapore?
An orthodontic consultation fee of $218 w/GST is chargeable on the visit of your initial consultation, where full diagnostic records will be taken. This includes Consultation, X-ray, 3D intraoral iTero scan and photo-taking.

Extractions will be avoided whenever possible, although sometimes it may not be possible in a small number of patients. This is often further discussed in length with the dentist during consultation.

The duration of treatment can vary depending on your condition and complexity. Typically, it takes approximately 18 months.

Unlike traditional braces, OneSmile aligners are smooth and do not have any sharp cutting edges or corners. Thus, the risk of having ulcers and pain is minimal. You will, however, feel slight tightness and discomfort for the first few days every time you change to a new aligner.

The recommended wear time is 22 hours per day.
